We finally had to do it, well, we didn't
HAVE to, but driving a car that kept overheating and had no air conditioning when it's 108 outside, is just no fun. So after many many hours on the internet researching, going to lots of dealerships and test driving, much distress over buying a new car while being unemployed, finding the best vehicle to fit our needs in our price range, and a little bit of negotiating Daryl came home in this yesterday!
It's a 2008 Dodge Nitro. It's a nice compromise between a car and a truck, we are having a tow package put on it so we can start pulling the trailer with it instead of the van, and it's in great shape. Daryl is like a little kid a Christmas, he actually couldn't sleep last night and took it out for a "drive".
and the best part . . . it has air conditioning!
